In this place, ancient people worshiped the god of the sun, 24 columns along the perimeter of the building symbolize the clock, the movement of the sun across the sky during the day.
Next, we will visit the Geghard Monastery, part of which was created right in the basalt rock. The monastery was founded in the 4th century on the site of a sacred spring. The skillfulness of the stone patterns decorating the temple leaves you breathless. Here and in other temples, we see the talent of Armenian masters who bring stone to life.
Our final stop before returning to the capital is a place called "symphony of stones". This is an architectural structure made by nature itself and presented in the form of huge basalt columns, about 100 meters high. a truly impressive sight, inspiring with its extraordinary forms.
